Honorable Simplico G. Dominguez is a homegrown Bacooreño, born on March 2, 1945 in Molino 1, City of Bacoor, Province of Cavite from a very simple and low profile family who loves farming that he even introduced and influenced this hobby to the members of his Barangay.
He entered public service in 1990 as an appointed Barangay Kagawad of Molino 1 and became the Barangay Chairman right thereafter in 1994 election. Being a dedicated, reliable and hard-working person, Councilor Simplicio was re-elected for 2 more terms serving Molino 1 as the Barangay Chairman for 8 years. He is being called “Tatay” by most of his constituents due to his fatherly like figure and love for the Bacooreños. He is a person who believes in action more than words that made him more loved by his relatives, peers and constituents. Due to his consistent dedication in serving the public, he was re-elected and served another 3 terms from 2007 until 2018 as the Barangay Chairman of Molino 1 and at the same time he became the Adviser of Molino 1 Senior Citizen Association from 2009 to 2018. After completing 3 full term for the 2nd time, his advocacy in serving his constituents continues being the Barangay Administrator of Molino 1 from 2018 to 2021.
After serving Molino 1 for a total of 25 years, he was called to serve the Bacooreños of District 2 and was elected as City Councilor of District 2 on May 9, 2022 election. He was tasked to Chair the Committee on Agriculture and Food and the Committee on Senior Citizen. With a heart of a true Bacooreño and a passion to serve, Tatay Simplicio will surely serve the Bacooreños with all honesty and integrity.
