COUNCILOR Horacio M. Brillantes, was born on April 06, 1977, in Parañaque, Rizal and is currently residing at #2 Abad Santos St., Phase 1, Bahayang Pag-Asa Subdivision, Barangay Molino V, City of Bacoor, Cavite. He earned his degree of Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from Philippine Merchant Marine School and graduated in 1998.Â
Hon. Brillantes is the fourth of five children. His father, the late Horacio Brillantes, Sr, was a driver, and his mother, was a Public Teacher. He is married to Sheryll Mae Lacson Brillantes from Molino Bacoor, Cavite. They are blessed with three children’s: Horacio III L. Brillantes, April Sheralldy L. Brillantes and Donn Jualdho L. Brillantes.
He worked as a School Service at the Elizabeth Seton School from 1996 to 2011.
Hon. Brillantes served as Barangay SK Kagawad of Barangay Molino V, City of Bacoor, Cavite from 1996 to 2001, Barangay Kagawad of Barangay Molino V, City of Bacoor, Cavite from 2013 to 2017, Punong Barangay of Barangay Molino V, City of Bacoor, Cavite from 2018 to 2023.
He Motivated by his passion for public service; he sought to serve not only his barangay but the entire Second District of Bacoor. He is a first term as a City Councilor of the Second District of City of Bacoor, Cavite. He chairs the Housing, Land Utilization and Urban Development and Social Services.
