HON. ROWENA BAUTISTA-MENDIOLA, served as Sangguniang Panlungsod Member for three consecutive term (2013 – 2022) until her election as City Vice Mayor in the synchronized national and local elections of 2022. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Vice Mayors’ League of the Province of Cavite.
Aside from being the presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, she is the co-chair of the City Mayor in the various local consultative councils. The Local Chief Executive tapped the City Vice Mayor’s extensive experience in local legislation and in private entrepreneurship. Since her term as City Councilor, she is known to actively support resolutions and ordinances for the implementation of various programs of the city government on education, social welfare, tourism, livelihood generation and the promotion of local businesses. Spurred by her innate compassion for the poor and downtrodden, the Vice Mayor is using her office to promote good governance through transparency and accountability, honesty and integrity.
