COUNCILOR VICTORIO L. GUERRERO, JR. was born and raised in Salinas, Bacoor, Cavite by his parents, the late Victorio E. Guerrero, Sr. who served as Punong Barangay in Salinas and Feliciana L. Guerrero. He is a nephew of the late Bacoor Municipal Councilor Pablo Guerrero. He has three (3) children namely, Via, Vina and Victorio III.

He finished his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy at Imus Institute. He started his business, V.L.G. Hardware and General Merchandise, presently managed by his daughter, Via.

He was elected Punong Barangay of Salinas II in 2007 to 2018 to which for three consecutive terms, he run un-opposed together with his team who served in the Barangay Council. This unity was demonstrated Plebiscite of 2012, when the constituents of Barangay Salinas II unanimously voted “Yes” to the Charter of the City of Bacoor. He was a Board Member of People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) from April 2014 to June 2018. He was elected President of the Liga ng mga Barangay Bacoor Chapter in 2013 that elevated his as Ex-Officio member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod. He was elected Vice President of Liga ng mga Barangay Cavite Province on July 2016 and ended June 2018. After his term as the President of the Liga ng mga Barangay in June 2018, he was appointed as City Councilor of District II. Year 2019, he was elected as City Councilor of District I. He finished his first term and presently on his second term as City Councilor of District I. He is the Chairman of Committee on Education, Science and Technology and Committee on Tourism, Culture and External Linkages. He is the Vice Chairman of Committee on Health and Sanitation and Committee on Labor, Trade Commerce and Industry. He is also a Member of Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation, Committee on Housing and Land Utilization and Urban Development, Committee on Human Rights and Committee on Poverty Alleviation.

Service runs in his blood as he follows the footsteps of his father and uncle. He influence’s people by his good examples and inspire others to accept challenges.
